Returns handler
Handles returns from your web shop according to your rules: from request to refund, with a person for the exception.
Saves, estimated: ± 3 hours a week
Returns handler is an AI agent from Altramano for customer service. An AI agent does a task that involves reading, assessing or writing, such as assessing an enquiry or drafting a reply. It puts it in front of you, or does it itself if you want it to.
What it does
- Reads a return request and looks up the order.
- Tests it against your returns policy: period, condition of the product, reason.
- Sends the customer the instructions and the return label.
- Sets up the refund once the parcel is in, and puts exceptions in front of you.
An example
- In
- A customer wants to return a jacket, 20 days after delivery, with the label still on.
- Out
- A confirmation with a return label, and after receipt a refund of €89.95 ready for approval.

Industries where this comes up
Frequently asked questions
Does it refund by itself?
No. It sets the refund up in your web shop or payment platform; you say yes. You can later make that automatic per amount.
What if the customer is outside the period?
Then it follows your policy: decline with a polite message, or put it in front of you. You choose what the rule is.
Does it work with my web shop?
With Shopify and WooCommerce. With another web shop it reads the orders from the mail or an export.
