Connecting ChannelEngine

Connecting ChannelEngine with Altramano means: the ChannelEngine integration connects Altramano to your ChannelEngine environment through an API key from your own tenant. Marketplace orders are pulled and confirmed, shipments and returns registered and price and stock updated, all in your own environment in Amsterdam and with approval wherever you want it.

Registering a shipment when it goes out

Now

After packing someone registers every shipment by hand.

With Altramano

As soon as a shipment has a track and trace code, it is registered with ChannelEngine and so with the channel.

BenefitShipments registered with the channel.
LimitLimit: runs by itself; you can look back at it in Runs.

Stock the same on every channel

Now

The stock on the marketplaces lags behind and things are sold that are not there.

With Altramano

On a stock change in your warehouse the stock in ChannelEngine is updated, for all channels at once.

What an AI agent does with ChannelEngine

A marketplace order in your warehouse or your books. Now: orders from bol, Amazon and other channels are retyped per channel. With Altramano: every new order is a trigger; the order is confirmed and is ready in your warehouse system or your books. The agent does this with ChannelEngine through your own details, in your own environment in Amsterdam. Whatever goes out or gets booked, it puts to you first: you say yes, then it runs. Every run is in Runs.

How you connect it

  1. In Altramano, go to Integrations and choose ChannelEngine.
  2. Connect through your own details. Altramano keeps only an access key, encrypted, in your own environment.
  3. Choose a template or describe the task in the Studio. Test it against your real integration.
  4. Say yes before it goes live. After that it runs by itself, with every run there to read back.

Everything runs in your own environment in Amsterdam. You set the limit: what falls within it runs by itself; what falls outside it comes to you first. Every run is there to read back step by step in Runs.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect ChannelEngine?

Through an API key from your own ChannelEngine environment (Settings → Merchant API keys). The integration is only for customers of ChannelEngine: the API runs on your own tenant. The key is kept encrypted.

Does it work with every marketplace?

The integration talks to ChannelEngine; which channels sit behind it you decide in ChannelEngine. A new channel is switched on there, not here.

Can I withdraw the integration again?

Yes: remove the key in ChannelEngine or the integration in Altramano under Integrations. Both take effect immediately.

Is this integration on right away?

Yes. You choose it in your environment under Integrations and connect in a few minutes.

What if ChannelEngine cannot do something through the integration?

Then there is the general HTTP integration, or we extend the integration if the system has an API.
