What does it save you?

Four figures about your company. Then you see what the time that frees up is worth, next to the price that fits.

The calculator is a simple sum: how many hours of fixed, repetitive work a month can run by themselves, what those hours cost, and how that compares with the price tier that fits your number of employees. If it brings in less than it costs at your figures, it says so.

What it saves

This is the result for an example company. Fill in your own figures and click Calculate.

You save about 69 hours a month. That is about €3,120 a month in labour costs.

At 25 employees, Start fits: from €2,000 a month.

That is about €1,120 a month more than the subscription. You then earn back the setup (from €5,000, one-off) in about 5 months.

An indication, not a promise. We count 50% of the hours and €45 per hour (CBS, 2024). Time is not everything: fewer errors and faster answers to customers do not count in this sum.

8 × 4 h × 50% × 52 ÷ 12 = 69.3 h a month; 69.3 h × €45 = €3,120

How do you work out what automation saves?

You enter how many employees you have, how many people do fixed, repetitive work, how many hours a week that is per person and what share can run by itself. The calculator turns the freed-up hours into labour cost, at €45 per hour from CBS, and compares that with the price tier that fits your number of employees.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the €45 come from?

From CBS, Statistics Netherlands: in 2024 the average labour cost per hour worked in the Netherlands was €45. If your hourly cost is different, enter it under “A different hourly cost?”.

Why only a share of the hours?

Because not everything runs by itself. Exceptions, coordination and the approval you give yourself remain work. That is why you choose how much can run by itself; choose cautious if in doubt.

What does not count?

Fewer errors, faster answers to customers and work that is now left undone. They are worth something too, but hard to put in euros; the sum counts only the hours. The one-off setup is separate, in the payback time.
