Expense checker
Checks your employees' receipts against your rules and sets them up for payment.
Saves, estimated: ± 1 hour a week
Expense checker is an AI agent from Altramano for administration and finance. An AI agent does a task that involves reading, assessing or writing, such as assessing an enquiry or drafting a reply. It puts it in front of you, or does it itself if you want it to.
What it does
- Reads every receipt an employee submits: amount, date, VAT and what was bought.
- Tests it against your rules, such as a maximum per meal or a mandatory project code.
- Sets an approved expense claim up in your accounts and tells the employee it is on its way.
- Puts a claim that falls outside the rules in front of you, with the reason.
An example
- In
- A photo of a fuel receipt of €84.20 without a project code, sent in through the mailbox.
- Out
- A question to the employee for the project code, and then a booking ready for approval.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I record my rules?
In plain language, with the agent: for instance a maximum per day, which costs are and are not allowed, and which details a receipt must carry.
What if a receipt is unreadable?
Then it asks the employee for a new photo and puts the claim on hold. You do not have to chase it.
Can an employee see what happens to a claim?
Yes. They get a message when the claim is received, approved or raises a question.
